President

A seasoned construction professional, Bob Newman has been driven to exceed client expectations since the start of his career in 1978 as a carpenter’s apprentice.  Working his way up through the Carpenters Union Local 15 as a Journeyman, Foreman and Supervisor, Bob concluded his union tenure as a Master Joiner & Millwright. In 1989, he parlayed his growing customer base into a successful New Jersey-based custom carpentry business, which quickly grew into a General Contracting firm specializing in project design and management. In 1999 Bob expanded his services to include emergency property damage mitigation and reconstruction.


As President of Rapid Recovery Services, Bob has assembled an integrated staff of industry experts who share his passion for client satisfaction and offering the best emergency mitigation services available.

Regional Manager

As Regional Manager for Rapid Recovery Services, Matt Battle performs many of the company’s administrative and marketing functions. He serves as the company comptroller and oversees finances and business procedures. Matt is also the company’s resident Xactimate® expert, providing fast, accurate and thorough job estimates to customers using the industry standard in estimating software. In addition to providing these key support services, Matt works in the areas of sales, project tracking and field operations oversight. Matt holds a degree in Business Administration from St. Thomas Aquinas College, where he attended on a partial scholarship.

Senior Project Manager

Steve Petti has worked in the emergency mitigation services business since 1986, starting out as a cleaning specialist in boiler puff-backs and demolition work. In that time he has successfully executed well over 300 mold remediation projects, and has been at the forefront of the commercial and industrial EMS and restoration scene as a project manager. In his 20+ years working he has gained extensive cleaning technology expertise and earned broad respect from industrial hygienists.

Steve has worked numerous projects throughout the metropolitan area, from residential homes and apartments to luxury condos and co-ops, and has consistently performed beyond expectations for the most discerning clients. He is certified in fire and water damage, mold remediation, and blood borne pathogens. Steve has also worked with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) as an Assistant Security Director.  As a Senior Project Manager for Rapid Recovery Services, Steve brings his broad base of expertise along with a strong commitment to the company’s clients and their needs.

Project Manager

Rob Wolkin has recently taken over project managing within Rapid Recovery Services. Rob brings with him over ten years experience as a Regional Operational Manager with Trans/America.AIG, several years within the construction/HVAC field, and over seven years of experience within the restoration industry. He is IICRC certified in Water Damage Restoration, Applied Structural Drying, Odor Control, and Fire and Smoke Restoration.

Office Manager

Holly Delcalzo is the office manager for Rapid Recovery Services, where she oversees the business development for the company. Holly has developed a successful organizational and administrative plan to help drive the growth within Rapids business. Holy's area of expertise relating to her position involves event planning, executing marketing, and communicating with clients.
